Samaritan’s Purse ~ Disaster Relief for Colorado

Colorado is near and dear to our hearts.  My husband was born and raised there.  We still have several family members living there; thankfully, they are all unaffected by the flooding.

Like with any disaster, there are many relief organizations assisting those in need.  If you have not already done so, but would like to donate in order to help in some way, I encourage you to consider Samaritan’s Purse.

For those of you not familiar with Samaritan’s Purse, you have likely heard of its President and CEO, Franklin Graham.  I have always been impressed with Franklin’s uncompromising stand for Christ and for the outstanding reputation of his ministry.

They are usually one of the first on the scene and show up with their sleeves rolled up, ready to help.  Additionally, the assistance they provide is done in the name of Jesus:

“No matter where we go or what we do, we offer more than help. We offer hope. To suffering people in a broken world, we share the news of the only One who can bring true peace—Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.”
