Mark the Blameless ~ Their Future is Peace

Mark the perfect man.
Watch him,
Watch his life.

Will he fall?
Sure, he will.
Will he stumble?
He most certainly will.

But watch that man following God.
Very soon, he will get back up.
He will once again find peace.

Mark the blameless man, and observe the upright; For the future of that man is peace.
Psalm 37:37

*This is true of any man or woman following God.

I have always loved this verse.  Christians have trials and fall down like everyone else, but God does not leave us in that place.  With His help, we get back up.  Because of Christ, we always return to a place of victory and peace.

Do you know the One who will turn your life around and bring peace in the midst of any storm?  You can know Jesus, the Prince of Peace.  Call to Him today, ask for His mercy for your sins and surrender to Him as Lord.  Jesus will give you a peace that passes all understanding.

Sunsets on Parade

Psalm 113:3

Psalm 113:3

Just a few of the lovely sunsets we witnessed while in California. I have much to learn about photographing them, but enjoyed them immensely. I am so in awe of His majesty!

You made the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows when to set.

God Answers

Tangled Vines

Escape me.
Making sense,
Eludes me still.
How can I find
My way through life’s dim lit room?

My voice,
Not others.
Only Truth
Will lead until,
You find the Way
Revealed to those called My own.

Sorrow’s drone,
Looms large within.
When comes the time,
Peace rests and victories bloom?

My help,
Not of self,
Given to
All those in need,
Will squelch the grief
Borne from fear’s death-stench groan.

Deep rooted.
Shadows of
What might have been.
Where best to put
Shattered pots with seeming doom?

My peace,
Lies, deceit
Wrought cruelly,
By him, that thief
Whose deeds will one day be shown.

Heavy weights,
Crushing, yet
Not meant to be.
What to do when
Life’s not seen success’ bright plume?

My hands
Will hold you.
Your ev’ry load
They’ll lift and bear.
Rest beckons,
Let it all go ’round My throne!

Be Thirsty

Snippets of Rain

Remember each day to thirst,
For Me.
Think of how you feel when thirsty
Really thirsty.
And how a drink of cool
Clear water tastes.
Be that way for Me.
Thirst for Me above anything
Or anyone else.
I will satisfy your thirst.
I will give to you freely
Of My loving, living water
Which will fully quench the
Thirsting of your soul.

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.  When shall I come and appear before God?”
Psalm 42:1, 2  (NKJV)
