Overcoming Hurdles ~ Another Update

Despite many painful hurdles, God keeps putting a smile back on my face

Despite many painful hurdles, God keeps putting a smile back on my face

Hello blogging friends!  Just wanted to update you again on my recovery from surgery:

Things are progressing, but I have had several unanticipated hurdles and setbacks.  With each one, though, God continues to help me overcome and get through.

Although I miss my writing and photos terribly, I am still not quite ready to jump back into blogging, since I only tolerate brief work on my PC.  My iPhone is the only source of connecting to the internet I tolerate, and only limited amounts of that.

I trust you are all doing well.  I hope to engage again soon with reading your posts and sharing through blogging.

Blessings,
Sue

“For by You I can run against a troop,
By my God I can leap over a wall.”
Psalm 18:29

*I will open this post up for comments and do my best to reply.  Please let me know of any pray needs of yours, so that I can join with you in lifting them up to the Lord.

Sue!!!! Hey Beautiful Lady, so good to see that smile! We all miss you but what is important now is resting and healing in God’s perfect timing. One thought I love while I am outside is noticing how Nature (God’s wonderful creation) hold no stress! Just enjoy the warm breezes, cool rains, his bounty of flowers and all the critters that visit your window. Be at peace my friend…God is our Master Healer. You will remain in my prayers. Blessings~Zoey

Sue! So good to see you again! You have been in my thoughts and prayers often. No need to reply, but I do have a praise and prayer request combined. My daughter has plantar fasciitis from this past November, and she has become a bit discouraged. She called a highly recommended doctor this morning, and although it is generally impossible to get an appointment sooner than 3-4 months, she was able to get one for tomorrow morning! God is awesome! \(^_^)/

Thanks my friends. Ha! Quite the unique scarf! I tell people that when I’m out in public wearing it, I scare small children and animals! I appreciate your prayers and miss you ladies!

I’m so pleased your feeling better Sue and I will continue to pray for complete recovery.

Yes I would value your prayers very much, that regardless of the conflict I will not give up, sometimes the road is bumpy, as you know too Sue and although I don’t doubt that God keeps us from falling, and strengthens us to endure, we need each other in The Body of Christ.

Thanking you – Christian Love from us both – Anne

Thanks so much, Anne. I can absolutely relate to reaching those places of wanting to give up. Somehow, God always picks us up, dusts us off and gives us the courage to carry on. I will pray that He do so for you! Blessings, friend!
