Blessings Like Rain ~ Farewell Until I Mend

Thanks very much for the outpouring of well wishes after yesterday’s announcement about my surgery.  My recovery will require that I stay off computers for about two months, but since I want this to work, I will fully comply with doctor’s orders!

This last post, before I temporarily retire from blogging, is for you.  Until we meet up again in Blog-Land, receive this simple blessing of farewell and the special photo above just for you.

Blessings Like Rain

May God’s blessings pour like rain
On everything you do
May God’s melodies sustain
In all life puts you through

****

“For the earth which drinks in the rain that often comes upon it, and bears herbs useful for those by whom it is cultivated, receives blessing from God”
Hebrews 6:7

*I will miss ‘you all’ very much.  Thanks for your friendship, encouragement and prayers.

Farewell until I mend!

Blessings, always

Sue

*I will continue to read your posts and respond to comments through the weekend only, but as I stated yesterday, will have much time while I am off to pray for any of your needs.

Get well soon, sis. Let God amazingly use the doctors and every medical tools and anything which use in your surgery. We, I and Kevin always pray for you. See you soon on blogging. Many love and blessings to you, sis.

Rene, how sweet. I know- 2 months. No driving, no computers, no blogging. Will force me to slow down and press into The Lord, which always brings blessings. Thanks so much for your faithful support. I will miss you and all my blogging friends.

Yes, times like that do bring blessings in one form or another. I have no doubt you will experience His presence and be a blessing to others as well.

Oh, I forgot to say thank you for the beautiful image. The droplets really do resemble a treble clef. They, along with the vibrant green leaves, are so refreshing after such a long winter. ❤

Thanks. I love when I happen upon a little surprise like this photo. I did not notice the resemblance of a treble clef until I pulled it open. Just seemed to fit my message today- my blessing for all of you!

Thanks Jane. I’m going to get insight into how she feels not being able to drive. But, I do believe that God has a reason and has much in store during my convalescence. Blessings

Sue, I’m adding you to my weekly prayer list today. This is a time for Him to lead you to green pastures, to still waters. Time for you to let Him restore your soul. Open yourself completely to His love and healing, sweet sister. Two months is not so long a time; spring will turn to summer, and you will get to watch the flowers bloom and the caterpillars turn to butterflies. Bless you.

Sue, you will be in my prayers. Like others, I will be counting the days (perhaps even the minutes) until you have recovered and returned to blogging. You have provided a lot of beauty and encouragement through your blogs. May God comfort you and bless you with a strong and speedy recovery!

    Hugs,

You will be in my prayers. Hadn’t heard of this until just today. I will be praying that God meets all of your needs and that you will return to blogging when you are healed and well rested. I will also be praying for your family.

    God’s blessings…

May you feel God’s arms around you Sue, as He draws you close to His heart and gives you strength to go through what is needed.

I hold onto the Scripture below during the Storms in my life and give continual thanks that we never walk alone, I hope it will bless and comfort you too.

Isaiah 43:1-3 – Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown! When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Saviour.”

Jeremiah 29 :11-12 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Lamentations 3: 33 For God doth not afflict willingly nor grieve the children of men.

Christian Love from both of us – Anne.

Dear one, you are in my prayers – we KNOW that God uses many ways to heal our bodies – doctors/surgeons among them. As we place our trust in God, we can rest assured that He has the people caring for you in His hands as well.

Looking forward, with great expectation, to a long relationship as we share His light, love and hope to the world together! Blessings!

Only a person with music in their heart and soul would see that! I don’t believe in coincidences or luck. Even in the little things our Heavenly Father reminds us of the power of the melody. It was meant to strengthen and inspire and so much more. After all, I believe we will all be part of a heavenly choir once we go home!!
God bless for sharing such a great image, very inspiring!
