Melt My Heart ~ For What Matters To God

Frozen Melt

Frozen Melt

Melt my heart for the things that matter to You

Frozen Tears

Frozen Tears

May my tears for lost souls never freeze

Iced Over

Iced Over

Or my concern for those in need ever ice over

Snowy Cross

Snowy Cross

May my love for You, Lord, never wax cold

Chilly Layer

Chilly Layer

Or my anguish for revival become stifled under a chilly layer of complacency.

Melting

Melting

Melt my heart for the things that matter to You

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”
Matthew 24:12

Sue, I love this. I have often heard people say they want their hearts to break for the things that break the Lord’s heart but I like the idea of melting our hearts better. It is more of a softening of our hearts. Great analogy! Thanks for sharing it. Be blessed today.

Thanks so much Shelly. When I pulled open my icicle pics, I couldn’t quit thinking about how they reminded me of tears- frozen ones. God just takes my thoughts from there. Blessings on your day, as well!

Thanks very much Rene. As always, I appreciate your feedback, both with my writing and photos. I do pray this prayer often; for God to keep my heart softened (as Shelly mentioned) to Him and others. Blessings

Thanks Teri. I love that picture, too. What intrigued me was how the leaves still looked fresh, but were trapped underneath the ice. God is good. BTW, Jim and I are looking forward to what God is going to do through our study together with you and Joe. For this month specifically, of letting God be God! Blessings
