I have a fascination with little critters. Their intricacies of design amaze me.

Bumblebee ~ curled up collecting nectar. Sometimes, bees curl up under flowers when sleeping, but this one wasn’t. To learn more about this, see a recent article by my friend Rene Yoshi, called Sleeping Bumblebees.
God’s handiwork is everywhere for those who will stop long enough to study.
The works of the Lord are great…
…studied by all who have pleasure in them.

*BTW ~ my neighbor witnessed me photographing the caterpillar. I told him that I really need a life!
If your neighbor only knew what great work you were/are doing, supplying us all through your blog! Thank you for sharing this verse and pictures with us, Sue.:) Blessings to you this week!<3
Thanks. I appreciate your sweet words and kind feedback. Blessings back your way!
You’re welcome Sue, and thanks for the blessings.:)

I was unable to leave a comment, but wow – great up-close-and-personal photos! We have a spider link from the maple tree to the birch tree on the front lawn, about 30 feet apart. We can’t figure out if the spider took a flying leap from the maple, trailing the thread behind him; or if he slogged through the grass and lugged the webline up into the birch LOL. No matter how he accomplished it, it’s a mega feat!
Blessings on a job well done!

Thanks so much. Wasn’t sure about including the spider photo but decided it was a good shot so went with it. Would love to see a pic of your web! Sounds awesome. 🙂
Thank you, Sue, for including my blog post! What fantastic images! Wonderful DoF. Love that caterpillar!
You are welcome, Rene. Been at work all day so sorry for the delay in replying. Was my pleasure to include a link to your blog. Thanks. 🙂

He is awesome in all His ways! Thanks
I have an intricate mature spider web on my deck that is occupied! He is incorporating two of the extra folded deck chairs with sprawling web and a cozy cylindrical web extending out under the deck rail. I don’t mind him as long as I know WHERE he is! God’s vast array of species is amazing. I enjoyed your colorful photos!
Thanks. I agree about observing the beauty of a spider at a distance! Watching their web-making is amazing. God’s creation is awesome! Thanks for the feedback and for stopping by.
We seem to have an abundance of spiders/webs this year, and none of them look as pretty as your photographs! They are so beautiful to look at, but I highly dislike walking into them when I don’t see them! Gorgeous pictures! 🙂
Thanks, Toni. Couldn’t resist photographing this spider…from a distance! blessings
