Friday ~ Thanks

Feature FridayThank You for the cross, Lord, on which You died.
Thank You for the hope that in You we find.
Thank You for Your presence in which we can abide.
Thank You for Your arms of love open wide.

Anyone else amazed at how fast this year is going?  Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know it.

Even though Thanksgiving is when we officially set aside a day for gratitude, it is never too early to give thanks.  In fact, we should offer gratitude to the Lord every day for all that He has done.

Join me in giving thanks.  Let’s celebrate thanks-giving in September!

I started us off with my poem.  Now it is you turn to share something for which you are grateful.

September has flown by! I am grateful for my daughter, who is celebrating her birthday today. She is such a blessing to me and others, and I am so proud of her and encouraged by her love for the Lord. Not only did I once wonder if I’d be able to have children, but after having two sons, God gave me her, too! \(^_^)/

Three miracles, then! Happy Birthday to your daughter. I enjoy sharing in your posts of the sweet times that the two of you share. May God richly bless her on this day an always. She sounds like a person who has a sweet heart just like her mom! 🙂

I am thankful for the promises in the Word…as the “faith of a mustard seed” [Mat.17:20]…when planted in our life will produce a harvest. We can share in abundance what God brings to us- when we are faithful in little…even as small as a mustard seed! Plant it, nurture it and celebrate His Harvest in your life! Bless you, Sue. ~Zoey

I am thankful for “new beginnings”. Just when we think our lives have come to an “ending phase”, the Lord places His assuring Hand on our shoulder and lovingly says, “Behold, I make ALL THINGS new.” God bless you, Sue.

I thankful for the Lord, HIs mercy, grace, and forgiveness. I especially am thankful for His daily displays of His great love that He shows to all His children.

I am thankful for my wife and her love and care for me.

And finally I am thankful for the privilege of being able to serve the Lord.

My prayer is that I never forget all He has done and is doing for me. Don’t know what I would do without the Lord in my life.

    Lord bless you SUE!
