Thank You for the cross, Lord, on which You died.
Thank You for the hope that in You we find.
Thank You for Your presence in which we can abide.
Thank You for Your arms of love open wide.
Anyone else amazed at how fast this year is going? Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here before we know it.
Even though Thanksgiving is when we officially set aside a day for gratitude, it is never too early to give thanks. In fact, we should offer gratitude to the Lord every day for all that He has done.
Join me in giving thanks. Let’s celebrate thanks-giving in September!
I started us off with my poem. Now it is you turn to share something for which you are grateful.
I am grateful to God who has given me abundant blessing. This evening special gratitude to God who has been answer my prayer so I can continue my
study in Phd program next year. This is my big dream and God already shows His way to me 🙂 many love and blessings to you, sis.
How awesome is God to provide! Very happy that you can continue pursuing this dream, Karina. God is going to continue to use you in powerful ways! 🙂
September has flown by! I am grateful for my daughter, who is celebrating her birthday today. She is such a blessing to me and others, and I am so proud of her and encouraged by her love for the Lord. Not only did I once wonder if I’d be able to have children, but after having two sons, God gave me her, too! \(^_^)/
Three miracles, then! Happy Birthday to your daughter. I enjoy sharing in your posts of the sweet times that the two of you share. May God richly bless her on this day an always. She sounds like a person who has a sweet heart just like her mom! 🙂
Thank you so much, Sue, for the blessing! The Lord is, indeed, blessing her in a lot of small ways that are huge to her. ((hug))
I am thankful that God covered, hovered, and cradled me and mine while in the wilderness. We are still standing, stronger and walking in His favor. Thanks for the reminder of being thankful. Blessings to you!
I love how you worded that – that “God covered, hovered, and cradled” you and your loved ones. Beautiful testimony of thanks to Him. blessings for sharing
I’m thankful for His grace, the unmerited favor He has lavished on an ill-deserving sinner like me.
May I second that one? Where would I be without the Lord’s unmerited favor! blessings
I’m grateful for too much to list on here, Sue!!!! I am mostly grateful that my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!!!! Be Blessed!!!
Absolutely! Me too. Thanks, Jane and I hope you have a wonderful trip!
I am thankful for the promises in the Word…as the “faith of a mustard seed” [Mat.17:20]…when planted in our life will produce a harvest. We can share in abundance what God brings to us- when we are faithful in little…even as small as a mustard seed! Plant it, nurture it and celebrate His Harvest in your life! Bless you, Sue. ~Zoey
Amen, Zoey. Our hope in His Word does not disappoint! Blessings
I am thankful for “new beginnings”. Just when we think our lives have come to an “ending phase”, the Lord places His assuring Hand on our shoulder and lovingly says, “Behold, I make ALL THINGS new.” God bless you, Sue.
Amen, Sharon. God is in the business of making all things new! blessings
so grateful for His mercy and grace … His kindness toward me and patience with me … most of all I am so grateful that He fully knows me and completely loves me … and that this is something I can count on … I am also thankful for you and this beautiful post 🙂
Thanks, Heidi. I love it when we all take the time to praise and thank our God. I know that it is a pleasing aroma in His nostrils! blessings on your day
Amen to your poem, Sue! I am thankful that He gives us what we truly need exactly when we really need it.
Blessings ~ Wendy
You, too. He is so good. Blessings on your weekend
Great idea. We should be so thankful everyday….
I thankful for the Lord, HIs mercy, grace, and forgiveness. I especially am thankful for His daily displays of His great love that He shows to all His children.
I am thankful for my wife and her love and care for me.
And finally I am thankful for the privilege of being able to serve the Lord.
My prayer is that I never forget all He has done and is doing for me. Don’t know what I would do without the Lord in my life.
Lord bless you SUE!
Amen, Rob. How wondrous is our Savior! Thanks
Amen, I’m with you! 🙂
I know I’m late in responding, but thank You, Lord, for Heavenly Raindrops! 🙂
How very sweet! Blessings back sweet friends!
