Oh, how I love Your law!  It is my meditation all the day.
Psalm 119:97

Another of my fireworks collection: I loved this one because of the variations of purple in the streaks of light.

let’s continue…”Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies; for they are ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers; for they testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts. I have refrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word. I have not departed from thy judgements: for thou hast taught me. How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth. Though they precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.” Psalm 119:98-104

I spent the afternoon with someone yesterday that doesn’t understand God’s truth. It was all about “cans and cannots”, “rules and regs”. The holy spirit led me to be silent and walk in love towards this woman…because LAW WITHOUT LOVE is LEGALISM and it does little to win souls.

Thanks for reminding us & sharing this beautiful verse and picture.

Thank you for further expounding. I agree. We must share the truth in love. It’s just hard for me to understand how others don’t also love His law! Guess because they have not fallen on love with the Author. 🙂

Amen, Sister! I have favorite authors and I own every book they have ever written and re-read them often. The same applies to the the Great Author, the Holy One…all our answers are contained within the Holy Scriptures…if we will just search them.

Beautiful fireworks photos! What a difference a camera makes. We took photos too. You won’t be seeing any of them on my blog. 😉

On a little different topic, one year we watched the fireworks through a chain link fence with barbed wire on top. This gave me a very eerie, almost “the day will come…,” kind of feeling. That was twenty years ago, and the memory still conjures up those feelings. Freaky!
