Faith Grows Best When Resting in God

Faith Grows Best

I will trust in You,
My doubts to ease.
I will sit a while,
And find reprieve.
I will fret no more,
As I believe.
I will rest in You,
Bask in Your peace.

I will drop my load,
The weighted cares.
I will cast my hurts
For You to share.
I will loose my chains,
I’m free declare.
I will find repose
Safe with You there.

I’ll reflect upon
All Your promises.
I will stay my mind
On Your faithfulness.
I will calm my fears,
In Your love refreshed.
I will rest secure,
There faith in You grows best.

There remains therefore a rest for the people of God.
Hebrews 4:9

Jessie, I really do appreciate you following my blog and for your kind remarks yesterday in your class. Mom told on you! Blessings and thanks. I do not have a lot of confidence in my writing!

Oh rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him (Psalm 37:7). Hmmm, it’s the resting and the patience that come so hard sometimes! Beautiful, as always! Keep up the great work! We heart your writing! S & S

Thanks so much. So sorry I have been slow to catch on to your site. There’s so much out there, it is hard to sort through. You have lovely ideas. So nice, all the free stuff you offer for print.
