Bank on God’s Faithfulness

Bank on it

Where I live, the Lady Banks roses are in full bloom.  Down South, we simply call it Lady Bank.  Whatever their name, they are splendid.  When grown against a fence, it literally envelops it with beauty!

I took this of a neighbors gorgeous Lady Bank. Showy enough for all of us to enjoy!

I took these photos of a neighbor’s gorgeous Lady Bank.  Showy enough for all of us to enjoy!

Lovin' me some Lady Bank!

Lovin’ me some Lady Bank!

As my husband and I were on an evening walk the dog trek, I spotted this gorgeous Lady Bank in bloom.  While gazing, the Lord immediately reminded me of His faithfulness.  His promises are a certainty on which we can depend.  He will come through.  We can bank on it!

He who promised is faithful. Bank on it!

Blessings, always.

Sue, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Lady Banks roses!! A neighbor two houses over has them growing over her garden shed. Another neighbor across the way has them growing along the edge of his rose garden. I take pictures every year. In fact, I posted one on FB just this morning. 🙂

And thank you for the reminder that we can always Bank on God’s faithfulness. As I read this I thought of one of my favorite verses of promise: “Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.” I Thessalonians 5:24 God WILL accomplish through us the work He’s called us to. Now that’s a promise we can BANK on.

I like how you said that- how we can bank in Him accomplishing the work He has called us to. I’m seeing that played out in your life, Teri. Saw your poster and big screen infomercial at church last night; saw your post about your new book. Wow, girl! Proud of how you keep pressing into what God has called you to! Will look for the Lady Bank pics tonight. Work has me all day! Blessings!

Oh, I love that connection you pointed out. I had based it on the word play with the word bank. Isn’t it neat how the Lord ties it all together in a way that honors Him, no matter the angle?! Thanks.

No matter how one turns the gem, there’s always another facet to view. The same is true of our Lord…except is “facets” are endless. Forever is going to be such a delightful time of discovering more and more of them, I think!
